Terms and Conditions
VAT
VAT will be charged at 17.5% to all prices
listed
Delivery and Collection
On delivery of the vehicle the client will be
required to sign our rental agreement accepting
liability for the vehicle and Bucks Car Hire
Terms and Conditions.
A member of Bucks Car Hire staff will report any
damage to the vehicle directly to the client,
within 4 hours of collection.
Abortive delivery will be charged at cost.
Abortive collection will be charged at £.50.00.
Delivery service is only available between 0800
and 1800 Monday to Friday.
The vehicle must be parked legally at the end of
a hire period.
Extensions and cancellations must be advised 48
hours prior to the start or end of hire.
Damage Claims
The client is responsible for any damage to the
vehicle whilst on rent, or waiting collection.
Bucks Car Hire will provide estimates and repair
invoices.
Bucks Car Hire reserve the right to charge the
customer for loss of use of the vehicle, if such
vehicle is unavailable for use as a result of
damage incurred during the rental period. Such
charge will be based upon the daily rental rate
enforced at the commencement of rental.
Unreasonable wear and tear and refurbishment may
be the responsibility of the client.
Insurance
Unless specifically agreed, full insurance of
our vehicle including Third Party and Road
Traffic Act must be covered by the clients own
insurance, and a copy supplied with the signed
Terms and Conditions, and annually thereafter.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure
that each rental is fully comprehensively
insured including Third Party and Road Traffic
Act. In the event of inadequate insurance the
client will be responsible for all costs
pertaining to the damage.
For vehicles taken to the continent, there will
be a surcharge of £15.00 per day. The client
will be responsible for arranging his or her own
full repatriation breakdown policy.
Collision Damage Waiver is available at an
additional cost Quotations are available upon
request. The client would remain responsible for
an excess and damage to wheels, tyres, window
glass, aerials and interior.
Theft Protection is available again at an
additional cost. Please ask for further details.
If Theft Protection is declined, full repair
costs and/or the full value of the car/part of
the car will be the responsibility of the
company in the event of the theft/attempted
theft.
Mileage Charges
Long term rentals of 28 days plus are subject to
a surcharge of £0.20 (£1.50 for group J) pence
per mile for each mile in excess of 2000 per
28-day period.
Refuelling Charges
Should we have to refuel the vehicle there will
be a refuelling charge of £1.50 per litre.
RFL Fee
A charge of £0.95 per day for a Road Fund
Licence fee will be charged on all rentals, this
is subject to change with 30 days notice. |
